Conference & event

What do I do when I arrive for my event?
Make your way to the main reception of the stadium, there you will be guided to your designated suite. All our meeting and event rooms are located in the West Stand, with access through the main reception.

Can we leave our car on the car park over night?
Cars can be left over night but must be collected the next morning. All cars are left at the owner’s own risk. Cars left the night before a match day must be collected by 8am the following day.

Where is the main car park?
The main car park is located at the Cardiff City Stadium Car Parking, Location C & D, opposite the Sand martin.

I don’t know the location of the event I am attending?
We would suggest you make contact with the event organiser and request a set of joining instructions. Due to GDPR we would not be allowed to give out any details.

Where is the stadium’s main reception?
The main reception is located at Gate 1, Opposite car parking area D.

What is the best postcode to use when travelling to the stadium by car?
The stadium’s post code is CF11 8AZ

How far is Cardiff City Stadium from Cardiff Central train station?
The railway station in closest proximity to Cardiff City Stadium is now Grangetown Station. We are approximately 5-10 minutes’ walk away from Grangetown, which you can get to by taking a connecting train from Cardiff's main station, Cardiff Central. There are direct trains from London Paddington, Birmingham, the south coast and south-west England, with connections from the rest of the National Rail network to Central Station - a step free station with staff assistance available

What is the local taxi number?

How many onsite car parking spaces do you have?
We have over 1000 spaces on site.

Can we go on to the pitch for photos?
No, however we can take your group into the stadium bowl to have a group photo in the stadium seats. Cardiff City Stadium background makes a great team photo opportunity!

When can we come and see the venue?
You can bookan appointment with conference & events team as to when the room is free to view.

I’d love to work for the catering team – how can I go about this?
Visit www.compasseventjobs.co.uk and submit an application – simple. One of the recruitment team will be in touch if we wish to peruse.

Do you offer external catering packages?
No, all of our catering is provided Internally.

Food & drink

Do the conference and events team provide allergen information?
Yes, in line with the food information regulation (fir) 2014, we provide allergen information on all products served, whether that be food, or drink. Please ask the duty manager who will be able to provide you with this information.

Do the conference and events team cater for special dietary requests?
We are happy to help with any dietary requirements and will find a tasty solution for most requests. Please do feel free to call one of the conference and events team before your visit to discuss or speak to your dedicated duty manager on arrival.

Do the conference and events team cater for vegetarians?
Yes, our current menu has many dishes suitable for vegetarians. To get your appetite going, have a look at our food section.

Do the conference and events team use halal meat?
We offer a wide choice of dishes, and across these, use non-halal products. However, upon prior request, we are able to source halal products. All halal products are prepared at source; our kitchens don’t operate halal procedures.

Do the conference and events team source locally sourced products?
Yes, where ever possible, we strive to use local produce throughout our business.

How are the dishes on the menu decided?
We listen to feedback from our guests and where possible try to work suggestions into the menus. Our head chef works very closely with our local chefs to create new and exciting dishes.

Do the conference and events team recycle?
We recycle food products where we can to create new dishes for delegates.

Can I pre order drinks?
Yes, we offer a drinks pre order service.  Once you have booked your event one of our coordinators will send you a pre-order form with all the drinks package information.

Can I take home any unopened or unfinished drinks that have been pre ordered or bought on the night?
Unfortunately, not. Our policy is that no alcohol can be taken out of the stadium and all drinks purchased must be consumed on the premises only.

There is food left over from an event I have been to; can I take it home?
No, due to food safety regulations, all left over food must be disposed of.
